  Not a bad place to stay. I expected more from a "four star" hotel. Beware if they move you to a sea front view. Although it's beautiful, it's very noisy. There was some sort of live band going on every night and it was nearly impossible to get to sleep. If you're looking for a quiet place to relax in the evening I would not suggest this place. The reception staff could have been friendlier and more helpful. The rooms were very clean. Wifi not very good.

  A few years ago I booked a good deal at this hotel for a mini break over Christmas. The hotel, food, service were good enough and the staff pleasant and helpful. My comment would be there was a large party who were also at the hotel who basically took over as if it were their home. Their culture does not celebrate Christmas which of course is no problem but in the restaurant for example they loudly sang their traditional songs with other diners present. I found this very rude. I didn't stand up and sing carols! Even when attempting to sit in quiet and have a coffee using hotel internet they had again taken over putting their laptop to watch a movie in the way on the stairs to even access the lounge making me feel very uncomfortable. I spoke to a nice waiter who said they were aware of this and the party book every year but he would note my comments. I haven't returned to Hotel Miramar since as I genuinely find this inconsideration the hotel allows from other guests awful.
